IRAQ, KURDISTAN MAE - Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mission as "expert "for the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs with the following assignments: a) verifying and improving the functionality of the Emergency Hospital in the city on the occasion of the increased influx of casualties caused by war events in the Mosul area. b) Medical and logistic reorganization of the health emergency service ' 122 '-the equivalent of the European 112 - . This service covers both trauma emergencies in the city of Duhock that the transfer of wounded from the front lines to the Emergency hospital. |

IRAQ NGO AISPO AISPO Country Representative and Health Advisor PRT Project financed by: Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs - Task Force Iraq In Tallil, project aimed at running an health unit for the population of Nassiriya area based on a “Mobile Surgical Unit - MSU” Project coordinator and head of project for the whole Italian staff. Start-up of the surgical unit inside the clinic and organization and promotion of surgical activities with medical teams of the General Hospital and Mother and Child Hospital in Nassiriya. Organization of the outpatient and lab services. Due to the lack of local professionals, I covered also the role of anaesthetist for all the surgical interventions. Health coordinator for the whole project’s activities including training to local staff in the mother and child area and on anaesthesia and emergency medicine topics. |

INDIA NGO AISPO Leh–Ladakh: Feasibility study for a cooperation project focused on water & sanitation, mobile clinics for the Tibetan nomadic population living in Leh and surrounds (3.500 m). As medical doctor I took part to some mobile clinic mission promoted by Men Tsee Khang (Tibetan Medical and Astro Institute) for the promotion of traditional medicine and the nurse staff of Tibetan Children Village. |

Informative campaigns among the local population on first aid topics. Dharamsala: PBLS courses provided to medical and paramedical staff at Delek Hospital (Dharamsala) BLS course for Men Tsee Khang Institute Staff and H.H. the Dalai Lama staff. Delhi : Part of the organization committee of the course “Surviving Trauma 2009 – Paediatric edition” held in Delhi at Indian Spinal Injuries Centre and financed by the Embassy of Italy. Referral medical doctor in Italy for all the project medical activities including technical missions of Italian experts, training in Italy of medical and paramedical Indian staff. |
